The Eagles raced off to a 23-7 halftime lead, and held on in the second half to defeat the #2 ranked Coffee Trojans at the MAC. The defense limited the dangerous Coffee rushing attack to a 3.1 yd avg on 39 carries and intercepted 3 passes (Tubby McCall (1), Kentrez Anthony(2)). Anthony returned one of his INTs 28 yds for a TD.

The offense was led by Jadin Daniels' 130 rushing yards and 143 passing yards w/1 TD. Eric Smith also rushed for 93 yards and a TD on just 12 carries. Daniels' TD pass went for 54 yards to Keuntae Stewart. Senior kicker Cory Munson got the scoring started in the first quarter with a 53 yard FG; Munson added 2 more fields goals and 3 PATs to finish 6-6 on attempts for the night.

The Eagles (4-3, 1-1) now face the #1 ranked and defending AAAAAA State Champion Lee County Trojans next Friday night at the MAC.
