The Northside defense continued it's excellent play and recorded their first shutout of the 2017 in blanking the Macon Co. Bulldogs by a score of 23-0. Senior Braxton Golden had 3 of the team's 5 quarterback sacks on the night ,and 3 Eagles had interceptions (Coger, McGhee, & Childs) as the defense held the potent Bulldog attack to only 128 total yards.

Junior Cory Munson kicked 3 more field goals for the Eagles and Willie Northern and Eric Smith each added rushing touchdowns to the offensive effort.

The Eagles end the non-region portion of their schedule with a 5-1 record as the tough Region 1-AAAAAA schedule begins next Friday with a visit the MAC by the defending AAAAAA State Champs, the Valdosta Wildcats.
