In the final prep for the annual City Championship, the Eagles traveled to Evans, GA to take Greenbriar in a region contest. The Eagles dominated early and played everyone that traveled with a running clock starting in the third quarter and defeated Greenbriar by a score of 41-7.

Willie Jordan led a strong rushing attack for a team average of over 10 yards per carry with 147 yards on just 7 carries for a 21.0 yard/carry average. Rushing TDs were scored by Jordan, Glenn Smith (2) and Tanner Smith. Senior Marcus Ivory was 3-3 passing on the night for 63 yards and 2 TDs. Jordan and G. Smith each had one receiving touchdowns. Devonte Taylor had a interception for the defense as the D held Greenbriar under 200 yards while playing backups the whole second half.

The Eagles now begin preparation for the annual showdown with Demons with the chance to clinch another region championship.
