The Eagles hit the road for the first time this season but played just like it was home as everyone that traveled to Grovetown got the chance to play in the 52-12 victory. The win improved Northside's record to 6-0 (3-0 in the region).

Scoring highlights on the night included Willie Jordan's 4 rushing touchdowns, AJ Booker's 57 yard reception from Marcus Ivory on the first play of the game, and Devonte Taylor's 74 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Eagle fans also saw a touchdown drive directed by "Tanner Football" Smith end in a 2 yard TD run by Jamaal Joyner.

Defensively, Bobby Hines and Darius Holmes had interceptions as the D limited Grovetown to 173 total yards.

Northside returns to the MAC on Thursday night this week to take on region foe Jones County.
