The Eagles defeated the Westside Seminoles by a score of 28-14 in a tough, non-region contest to run their record to 3-0.

After a scoreless first quarter, Glenn Smith scored on a 14yd TD reception from Marcus Ivory seven seconds into the second. Isaac Rivera's PAT gave the Eagles a 7-0 lead. With 9 minutes left in the quarter, Westside tied the game on a 4 yard run. With 1:17 left before half, Northside retook the lead on a 25 yard TD reception by Jurmon Weaver from Ivory. The Rivera PAT gave the Eagles a 14-7 halftime lead.

At 6:29 in the third, Smith scored on a 23 yard run and Rivera's conversion gave the Eagles a 21-7 lead. Westside cut the lead back to a single score 3 minutes later on a 1 yard run. Northside sealed the game on a Willie Jordan 60 yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter for the final score of 28-14.

The Eagles open region play Saturday, September 28, at 6PM at the MAC against the Lakeside Panthers.
