The Eagles hosted the new school Grovetown of the Augutsta area on Saturday evening, and the Eagles played every able bodied player enroute to the 47-7 victory.



The Eagles led 34-0 at the half as 12 different Eagles carried the ball, 5 caught a pass, and 3 of the 4 quarterbacks that played completed passes. Shaquille O'Neill led Northside on the ground with 87 yards on 11 carries, and QB Dan Masteller scored 2 rushing touchdowns on 3 carries. In the passing games, Quin Green caught 3 passes for 67 yards, Alex Garcia caught the first touchdown pass of his career, and Briar Van Brunt completed 4 of 7 passes for 80 yards.

Darnell Slaton led the Eagle defense with 7 total tackles including one QB sack. Phillip Jones and Josh Chester recovered fumbles for the Eagle D.

The Eagles remain undefeated on the season and now will travel down I-75 to Tifton, GA to take on the Tift Co. Blue Devils in a Region 1-AAAAA contest.
