Game Recap
The Northside – Baldwin Co. sub-region battle was tabbed by USA Today as the national game of the week in a matchup of unbeaten AAAA teams. In the much hyped game, an overflow crowd watched the Eagles do their talking on the field as they crushed the Braves by a score of 31-0.

The Eagles defense started the 3rd quarter in style when K.J. Morton intercepted a Baldwin pass which paid off for the Eagles only one play later when Tijuan Green took off on a 49 yard touchdown scamper which saw the senior cut back across the field 3 or 4 times before finding the endzone. Devon Pike added his second PAT on the night and the Eagles led 17-0 with 11:34 left in the third quarter. Green was in the endzone again 5 minutes later on a 53 yard pass from Ivory. Pike made the score 24-0. Backup running back Xavier Hawkins finished the scoring for the Eagles when he scored from 9 yards out with 9:00 left in the game. The Northside defense kept the explosive Braves out of the endzone in posting their 3rd shutout of the season. The Eagles ran their record to 7-0 on the season with their 22nd straight victory.
