The Eagles advanced to round 2 of the AAAA state playoffs with a 42-7 victory of the visiting Haralson Co. Rebels. Byron Hunter had another huge night for Northside as he rushed the ball 19 time for 171 yards and 5 TDs! The Eagles' other score of the night occurred when the Rebels tried to quick kick from a wishbone formation and senior defensive end Sam Robinson crashed through the line to block the punt attempt and then scooped the ball up himself and raced 32 yards into the endzone for the touchdown. Sophmore kicker David Grayson was a perfect 6 for 6 on PATs for the night. The Eagles now advance to second round next week at home against the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets from Region 1-AAAA.
