Game Recap
A Saturday night game. Senior Night. Homecoming. Big rival game the next week. The complete package of coaches' worries for a lack of focus for a game. After a very lackluster first half, the Eagles went to the locker room only up 12-7 against the Central Chargers. Following a "re-focusing" of their attention during halftime, the Eagles came out the second half and played much more inspired and pulled away for a 26-7 sub-region win. The defense gave up its first points in over three games, but they still managed to hold Central to only 56 yards of total offense. David Everett had two rushing touchdowns for the Eagles on offense. The win sets the stage for another end-of-season showdown with its cross-town rival - the number one ranked Warner Robins Demons.
