The pregame festivities were special for this game, which marked the 3rd anniversary of the 9/11 events of 2001. Local poilcemen, firemen and emergency personnel were honored for their service to their community.
The Eagles wasted little time in disposing of the visiting Stockbridge Tigers. After receiving the opening kickoff, they scored the first of 9 touchdowns as quarterback Jacobi Rodriquez connected with Spencer Hill on a 8 yard TD strike less than 4 minutes into the game. That was followed by Byron Hunter's 1st of 3 scores as he punched it in from the 1 yard line. David Everitt got into the action on a 44 yard TD run and Hunter scored again from 19 yds out to put the Eagles up 28-0 before the end of the 1st quarter.

Meanwhile, the defense was completely shutting down the Tigers and allowing the offense to start with excellent field position time after time. The Tigers initial first down of the game didn't come until there was only 3 minutes left in the 1st half. it would be the only 1st down of the half for the visitors from Stockbridge High School.

Mike Tye started the scoring action in the 3nd quarter as he found the end zone on a 6 yard run. Hunter followed with his 3rd TD on a 6 yard scamper to pay dirt. The next score would come from an exciting 64 yard punt return by Jarvis Williams. Stockbridge would score their only points of the night on a 56 yard pass reception. The Eagles would answer that with a 97 yard drive culminating in a TD run of 4 yards by Isaac Wilson. The final score of the game was a 19 yard run by Jamal Hickey which put the Eagles up 62-6.

The boys in blue looked pretty imressive tonight and the hometown crowd cheered long and loud voicing their approval. The Eagles are off this week, so they have 2 weeks to prepare for their annual showdown with the Houston Co Bears.
